If one phrase was to sum up this game, “great, but could be better” would just about do it. This game features terrific gameplay, graphics, story line, making it one of the best games I have ever played. The thing about this game, and Ubisoft’s Prince of Persia which resembles Assassin’s Creed, is the freedom of movement you can have in the game. You can practically do anything while fighting, running, or jumping. Though it has a pretty confusing and disappointing end, everything else in the game makes up for it. Read the rest of this entry »
One of the greatest things NHL 08 has this year, is its appeal to a general audience instead of pure hockey fans. Truth is, I am not a big hockey fan, and I still find this game great. It doesn’t matter whether you like hockey or not, it is just fun to play. Read the rest of this entry »

This is my third day of playing NBA Live, and so far, everything has been great. The dynasty mode is amazing, and FIBA is a very nice addition. I could tell, after the last two NBA Live games were a bust, this game was going to be a good one. If you are having trouble picking out your character, all you need to do is download this excel file, type in the most important attributes to you, and after analyzing it, it will tell you which of the players are the best for you. I started on a beta version that works on secondary attributes, until I realized that was pointless, because it doesn’t affect the actual character.
With the release of the Xbox 360, everyone naturally had high expectations of not just the console itself, but the new array of video games. One video in particular really hit the top, and it happens to be the one I am talking about. Read the rest of this entry »

The highly anticipated NBA Live 08 will be coming in stores Oct 2, 2007, and I for one, can’t wait until is released. With Gilbert Arenas on the cover, boasting about it 24/7, I am almost as thrilled as him, also taking in the fact that the last few NBA Lives (2005-2007) have been large disappointments.
